Having been raised in the city of the “World Chicken Festival,” (London, KY) I was hesitant to try fried chicken from a small, family owned joint in Arizona. Wow, I’m happy I did, though!!! Chicken was soooooo good! The tenders are so thick. The flavour is magnificent. The hush puppies were so good. I dipped them in the butter. The butter is so good. I think I could eat ramekins of the butter; it’s delicious. But my only complaint was there’s no bleu cheese to dip the chicken. I ordered the chicken “savory,” and will be getting spicy next time, but savory is sooooo good. Besides the chicken, my favourite thing was CARBONDALE CREAM SODA!!!! What a surprise!!!!! The last time I drank this was in Aspen years ago, and the next time I see it is in Cottonwood???? Wow! I’m so impressed.
Holy Fried Chicken Batman. That was the best chicken I’ve ever had. Got the chicken tenders with sides of green chilli Mac and sour dough waffles. The breading was light and crispy and the chicken tender. The Mac was the best ever. Loved it. Could have had only that as the entree and would have been super happy. Plus sour dough waffles? Can’t go wrong with that.
I was a little nervous to try this place out due to the negative google reviews, and when we got there it looked extremely busy! However, I am glad I gave this place a try! Our server Armando was very attentive, gave me and my family good customer service, and even though they were busy he kept communicating with us! The food was delicious including their wine selection. Will definitely be back! And recommend everyone to give this place a try!
Located in old town Cottonwood. Great fall off the bone fried chicken--either in plain or spicy. Had the dark meat selection. Crunchy outside and tender inside. Good flavors and not too spicy. The sides were great. I had the cornbread and pasta shells. Didn't try the mead but it would pair well with this meal. Definitely try out this hot chicken place.
If you're a Tool fan, you're going to love this town and this place. But even if you're not, like me, you'll still love it! Our husband's are huge fans so this place was a must stop and it was truly amazing. The prices for one are so good, so affordable. Everything we had was delicious. I got the 2 piece dark with hush puppies and the waffles. I still am dreaming and the hush puppies. So good. I got a flight of the reds and it was perfect with my food. The place itself is so interesting and very clean. Bathrooms are very nice. The staff was fantastic. Would love to visit again some day!
Ok this place is seriously the best chicken ive ever had. My family & I stopped by on our way home from Sedona and so glad did. Everything we had was delicious and everyone included our little man enjoyed it. You definitely need to try this place out!
Hands down the best chicken tenders ever. Had the spicy ones with spicy aioli. Loved it. Green chili shells and cheese were great as well. This is the least expensive place to eat in all of old town. Little to no wait. Would totally recommend
